• Student attitudes toward education are influenced heavily in the home (Parents are first teachers), early years, and early education experiences. 
• All students require and benefit from accountability, (self or externally imposed).
• We should mutually respect and take pride in self, family and community.
• All students can learn (at different rates and in different ways or styles).
• Learning needs to be relevant to the present and future.
• Students should be motivated to reach their potential and use the ability they have.
• The teacher/student relationship must be based upon mutual respect and trust.

Just where is Exeter R-VI School District? 
Exeter is a small rural town located in Barry County in the Southwest part of Missouri, USA. 
We have 1 Elementary School Preschool through 6th grade and 1 Junior High/High School 7-12.
We have approximately 325 students, K-12.

We have an active FFA, FBLA,NHS, and Student Council.

Our 2009 Lady Tigers won the Class 1A State Basketball Title.
Our 2019 Academic Scholar Bowl team won the Class 1 State Championship
